This [The Candidate] is the first book of a great series, I just know it. Of course what happens has to involve multiple people to keep the story interesting (I’m keeping it vague on purpose to not spoil anything). The reporter James is involved from beginning to end, and while many other people come into the story they don’t make as big an impact as James does.
