My Writing Plans for Book Two and Cute Bookish Purchases | BTS Vlog #17

by | A week in the life of a writer, A Writer Writes, Behind the Scenes

Hello, Booklovers!

I’m excited to announce that I’ve published the first book in my James Lalonde Crime Thriller series, Missing. But, there’s no rest for wicked because this author has already started the final revisions on book two.

Or, so I thought.

In amongst all the work, I managed to squeeze in a bit of fun with two bookish related unboxing.

In this seventeenth Behind-the-Scenes writing vlog, I discuss:

  • A new brand of tea I discovered on a recent trip to France and Germany.
  • I published my crime thriller novella, Missing.
  • Why my books are not in kindle unlimited.
  • Where to buy the ebook, paperback, and large print editions.
  • A special sale price for fans of crime thriller novels.
  • I’m writing the next book in the James Lalonde crime thriller series.
  • The various editions of my crime thriller Missing are now linked on Amazon.
  • My revision plans for book two.
  • Further revisions on my crime thriller short story, the Lawn.
  • A bookish related unboxing from Amazon—a pair of super cute book ends. *
  • Another unboxing of my crime thriller novella, Missing from Ingram Spark—it was a disaster.
  • I have the best husband ever!
  • And, my plans to rewrite book two.

Thank you for watching, reading, commenting and sharing with such enthusiasm.

With love,

Amelia xx

The Candidate is the first book in the Rookie Reporter Mystery series. And she is the author of the stand-alone murder mystery The Locked Room. When not absorbed in a gripping page-turner or writing my James Lalonde series, Amelia loves to travel around Europe, drink tea and rosé, and eat pizza. She is also obsessed with journalism, art history, and is a closet religious thriller fan. She is also the host of The Authorpreneur Podcast and the Mystery Novel Nerd Podcast. Right now, she is writing a cozy mystery short story, which will eventually be the first instalment of a series, the second book in the Rookie Reporter Mystery series and the third James Lalonde novel.
